The year 2007 will see the departure of four daring cricketers viz. Damien Martyn, Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath and Justin Langer. The four have been humble enough to announce retirement from test cricket, to pave the way for the next generation of cricketers like Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin etc. If you thought the Aussie team will be lacking in killer instinct after the foursome's departure, think again. Australia only grew in strength after batsmen like Mark Taylor, Mark Waugh and Steve Waugh retired from the scene.
Test cricket's all set for more explosives ahead. |
